Yes, they can adjust the courses to any dietary restrictions
Let me Google that for you... 2km
There is no specific dress code but it is a higher end restaurant so it is nicer to dress up.

I booked on the same day; with open table
Smart casual.
I'm almost 100% certain that they do not sell gift cards.
Went for a friend’s birthday and had a wonderful twelve course meal experience.
The atmosphere is louder but that's because its busy all the time. Getting a table is not a given, book in advance so not to be disappointed. The menu is ever changing so what you get one visit may not be on the menu the next visit, but there is always something you just gotta try.
Overall great experience. I went in expecting be blown away by the food but the wine pairings ended up being the highlight of the night for me. Food is great too but perhaps my expectations were extremely high after reading all the reviews about this place. I HIGHLY recommend going for the wine pairing option to elevate your experience, as the wine sommelier definitely knows what he is doing.
I went here for my wedding celebration dinner, a group of 8. The food is pheonominal. I highly recommend the wine pairing. I will absolutely come back.
The outside looks very indescriptive, bland, you may think, WTF, but after waiting for almost a month for our reservation, we couldn't been more pleased. Our blind 12 course dinner started at 7:30 PM and pleasantly lasted until 10:45PM. The wine pairing was a good choice. The sommelier introduced each glass of wine with nice anecdotes, which improved our over all night experience. Our taste buds were bedazzled with explosive flavour. We had duck, salmon, pork courses. The night will be remembered. What an experience. Thank you.
Everything was ok here. The overall quality of the meal to the level of attention from the servers is on par with the price. The chef puts together many simple layers of flavours which come together quite well, but not particularly outstanding. I do like the focus on using natural ingredients and bringing out those natural flavours. We had the fortune of having a waitress who took her time to explain each dish in detail.
Wonderful experience in Ottawa. A little piece of Michelin level cuisine locally available. What stole the show was the Sommelier, he had deep knowledge of every wine in the wine pairing and included a personal touch for every table. Definitely worth a visit!
An incredible once in a lifetime kind of dining experience. Food wine atphoshere and most of all service was beyond perfect. A very good option for both meats eaters and vegetarian foodies wanting a truly magical experience
Went for a work lunch today with two colleagues. Two had burgers and one had a soup and a salad. California burger was like 10/10 good. Burger itself was juicy and flavourful I liked it a lot ! Everyone else ate everything so I'm assuming it was good. The beet and goat cheese salad looked good too but it didn't look like a large portion for a meal.
You get what you pay for and this restaurant does not disappoint. Although a little pricey for some, the dining experience itself is the entertainment, so you can make an evening out of it (I believe it takes about 3 hours to serve all the dishes). They cater to individual dietary restrictions and you in no way feel "cheated" because they replaced a meat dish with a vegetarian or gluten free one. If you truly enjoy food, are adventurous, and appreciate beautifully presented dishes, it is definitely worth it to save up and visit.
Amazing design! New thing is they now have the non-alcoholic drink paring. Very creative! Added more surprise for the dinner! But if we can be asked before the drink if we want decaf or not that would be better.
We've been to Atelier several times over the last few years, each time provides a unique experience. Dinner will take around 3 hours or so. We like to go for the first reservation time (6pm), so we can't see anyone elses food go by. We did the wine pairing. 10 wines, predominantly from Canada. The extended pairing includes more expensive and international brands.
This restaurant was definitely a cool experience. This is a once in a blue moon special occasion type of restaurant. The meal was a 12-course meal and each dish was a surprise (of course you can inform them of any dietary restrictions ahead of time). There are not many places like this in Ottawa, and so it is definitely a cool experience. The seating and the ambiance of the restaurant itself could be nicer given the amount you're paying ($120 a person). The restaurant is in a little grey house type of building and we ate in the upstairs area. The service was excellent.
Beautiful and thoughtful preparation of wonderful dishes. The staff were fantastic and every detail thought of. Would recommend this spot for a classy and unique date night.
I haven't posted a review in a long while, but I think the service here deserves praise. The lady who served my parents and I tonight was the most wonderful waitress - kind and caring. For that I say that Atelier deserves a wholesome 5 stars.
Fantastic from start to finish. It's no surprise it's one of Canada's best. Attention to detail is phenomenal. If you can, opt in for the wine pairing, it's worth it!
